Over one long weekend, we'll go inside the case studies that made Copenhagen a global reference point, meet the people behind them, and explore what other cities can realistically learn from them. You'll be part of a small, carefully selected group of peers from around the world, combining professional learning, honest discussion and meaningful community.

urbcast.
All Things Urban and Urbcast are joining forces for the first edition of a new kind of urbanist trip: part study tour, part professional network, part inspiration.
No lecture hall. No generic city tour. Instead, you'll stand inside the projects, hear from the people who helped shape them, meet fellow urbanists, and leave with ideas you can actually use in your own work.
Curated, intimate and built for people who want to learn from the source while growing their professional network at the same time.

We've shortlisted a set of standout Copenhagen projects that speak to architects, planners, designers, mobility experts, sustainability professionals and real-estate minds alike.
Each visit is designed as a working session: how the project was planned, financed, designed and delivered; what it teaches; what worked; what did not; and what can realistically travel to other cities.

Copenhagen's newest award-winning harbour park: privately funded, publicly open, with parking tucked underneath. A masterclass in bringing landscape, infrastructure and public life together in a dense city.
→
One of Europe's largest waterfront regeneration projects in progress. We'll look at how a new district is financed, built, connected and gradually turned into a place where people actually live.
→
From paper warehouses to street-food destination to a new mixed-use quarter. A case study in meanwhile use, urban branding and what happens when temporary activation becomes permanent development.
→
The elevated cycle route snaking over the harbour, carrying thousands of riders a day. A case study in how Copenhagen makes cycling the fastest, most joyful way across the city, and how infrastructure becomes beloved public space.
→
The world-famous "participation extreme" park in Nørrebro, featuring objects connected to more than 60 nationalities. A powerful case for discussing participation, representation, maintenance, ageing public spaces and what other cities can learn from it.
→
The waterfront that decades of clean-up transformed into one of the city's most important public spaces. Harbour baths, swimming culture, everyday urban life and the political work behind making water part of the city again.
→This trip is curated and hosted by Anastasia Sukhoroslova from All Things Urban and Marcin Żebrowski from Urbcast, bringing together a global view of the urban talent, education and professional development market with deep local knowledge of Copenhagen's built environment ecosystem.
Through All Things Urban, Anastasia works closely with urban professionals, universities, companies and organisations across architecture, planning, mobility, climate, urban technology and real estate. Through Urbcast and his work in Copenhagen, Marcin brings insight into the city's projects, studios, development logic and professional conversations.
Together, they are building a trip that gives you access not only to places, but to the thinking, trade-offs, market dynamics and real-life decisions behind them.
This trip is designed for urban professionals who want to learn directly from Copenhagen's built environment, connect with peers and bring sharper ideas back into their own work. It is especially relevant for:
The group will be small and carefully curated, so the conversations can go deeper than a typical study tour. We are looking for people who are curious, engaged and ready to exchange perspectives, not just attend passively.
You do not need to be a Copenhagen expert. The point is to come with professional curiosity, questions from your own context and a willingness to learn with others.

Marcin is a Copenhagen-based urbanist, project manager, educator, moderator and host of Urbcast. With a background in urban planning, architecture and sustainable urban design, he has worked across planning, business development, investment and urban storytelling.
Through years of work in Copenhagen's built environment ecosystem, and through conversations with the people shaping cities across Europe, Marcin brings local insight, professional access and a clear understanding of the stories behind Copenhagen's most referenced projects.

Anastasia is the Founder and CEO of All Things Urban, the leading global community-based career platform for urbanists, reaching more than 100,000 professionals across architecture, planning, mobility, climate, urban technology and urban development.
Working at the intersection of cities, careers, education and community, she helps organisations and professionals understand how the urban field is changing, what skills matter now, and how meaningful professional networks are built. For this trip, she brings the global All Things Urban community into the room.
This is the shape of the three days. The full timetable, including stops, times and meeting points, will be shared with confirmed participants ahead of the trip.
We meet in the afternoon for a welcome and framing session on how Copenhagen plans, finances and builds its city. Then we take a first walk along the harbourfront, reading it as a sequence of public spaces, before an informal group dinner where everyone gets to know each other.
A full day of guided site visits across the city: waterfront regeneration, public space, climate adaptation, housing and the harbour itself. Each visit is led by an invited expert, with time to ask questions, debate and compare notes. We close the day with a relaxed group dinner.
A closing morning around one of the city's most iconic and debated developments. We'll reflect on what worked, what did not and what can realistically travel to other cities. We wrap up with a shared reflection over lunch and finish early afternoon, so you can travel onward.
Both rates cover the full curated programme, expert-led visits, public transport during the programme, curated materials and your certificate.
Accommodation, travel to Copenhagen and meals are arranged by you, so you can choose what fits your budget and preferences.
We keep the group small and carefully curated, so every place is confirmed personally. Apply with a few words about yourself, we review applications on a rolling basis, and approved participants receive a personal payment link to lock in their spot.
